Macintosh
I n s e rt the CD into the Macintosh computer. Open the ‘ M a c ’d i re c t o ry
and there will be two fil e s :
VOL-N100VF Full-Duplex
VOL-N100VF Half-Duplex
D rag the file that you want onto the System Fo l d e r on your startup disk.
When prompted to move the file to the Extensions Fo l d e r, cl i ck ‘O K’
re s t a rt
Linux
You must be logged in as a root user to install the Linux drive r. Enter the
fo l l owing command to mount the CD-RO M :
# mount -o map = o ff /dev / c d rom /mnt/cdro m
* With map = o ff no name tra n s l ation is done
C h a n ge dire c t o ry to / m n t / c d ro m / L i nu x:
# cd /mnt/cdro m / L i nu x
i n s t a l l _ 3 m
This should install the proper driver and control files into the ap p ro p ri at e
d i re c t o ries. This includes the ‘3 M v f.o fil e’in the modules dire c t o ry and
the ‘M F L C o n t ro l’and ‘m fl_ c o n t ro l’files in the ‘/usr/bin dire c t o ry’ .
