Plastic Split Gland Kit 4097-F
1. Clean and scuff cable in location of split
gland placement
2. Wrap sealing tape around the cable to a
diameter ¼" larger than cable port
3. Install back half of split gland into cabinet
plate
4. Install front half of split gland around cable
and bolt to cabinet plate
5. Bolt two halves of split gland together

6.2 Flexible Top Port Entry
1. Remove the front plate from the flex port
body entry kit
2. Install the port body onto the threaded
studs
3. Reinstall the front plate to the port body
4. Seal around cables below top of flex port
5. Seal around cables in the flex port with
expanding foam
7.0 Shield Bonding
1. Install 3M
™
Shield Bond Connector 4460 or
4462 per your company practice
2. Attach a bond strap between the shield
bond connector and the cabinet bond plate
8.0 Installing the 3M

Quick Connect
System (QCS) 2810 frames
1. Rest the frame on the bottom frame support
bracket
2. Align the frame pivot tabs with the slots
in the bottom frame support bracket and
drop in
3. Attach the safety cable to the eyelet on the
top of the back side of the frame
4. Pivot frame up to top frame support bracket
