Brightfield ICC Profile
–
Select an applicable preset color profile to be used for
Brightfield scanning from the drop-down menu. Settings according to the profile
has effect on the color set, color temperature, and gamma value of the scanned
image.
•
Preset profiles
are the following:
o
Calibrated Linear
: Color scheme is defined by calibration (Gamma value is not
included)
o
sRGB standard
: Color scheme is defined by calibration (standard Gamma value
-2.2- is applied)
o
sRGB standard Microscope Like
: Color scheme is defined by calibration
(standard Gamma value / White Point: D50)
o
Legacy
: a Color scheme calibrated for the previous software version is applied
o
Custom
: parameters are freely customizable as follows:

Calibrated
: Scheme is defined by the color calibration slide
o
Legacy
: a Color scheme calibrated for the previous software version is applied
o
Raw
: the color information of the recorded raw image is applied

White Point
o
D65
: color temperature according to a standard illuminant D65 white point
value is applied (6500K / daylight)
o
D50
: color temperature according to a standard illuminant D50 white point
value is applied (5000K / horizontal daylight)
•
Gamma
o
Standard
: a value of 2.2 is used
o
Medium
: a value of 1.8 is used
o
Off
: a value of 1.0 is used
•
Stitching overlap
–
Set the amount how much the FOVs should extend over.
•
Measure camera rotation
–
Camera rotation angle is measured.
•
Alpha blending
–
The two images are blended.
•
Lower image position
–
Moves the upper image sideways in distinctive steps.
•
Reset all camera rotation
–
Click this button to set camera rotation values to
default.
•
Activate PSF generation
–
If activated, the Point Spread Function can be
generated. Follow the steps described in
section 7
to perform all the settings
before generating PSF.
