UP Plus 2 3D Printer User Manual          v 2013.10.24 

3. Quick Step by Step Setup Guide 

1.

 

Remove the 

two

 packing clips that hold the extruder head 

and platform in place during shipping. 

(keep these for when you move your printer) 

 

 

 

2.

 

Attach the “roll holder / feeder guide” onto the left side 

of the printer. 

 

 

3.

 

Open the foil bag that contains the ABS filament.   

NOTE:

 

Do  not  let  go  of  the  end  of  the  fila-

ment

, otherwise  it will  unravel  itself and tie  itself in a 

knot,  which  will  then  cause  a  block  in  the  extruder 

head  and  several  hours  of  unwinding  the  spool  manu-

ally to find the knot! 

 

4.

 

Load the spool of filament onto the roll holder, with the 

filament coming out from the back of the roll / printer. 

Do not let go of the end of the filament!
