Setting Terminal
Parameters

To set terminal parameters:

Start the PC and select

Start > Programs > Accessories > Communications >

HyperTerminal

The HyperTerminal window displays the Connection Description dialog box, as
shown in Figure 2.

Set Up the New Connection

Enter the name of the new connection in the

Name

field and click

. The dialog

box, shown in Figure 3 displays.

Select the serial port to be used from the

Connect using

dropdown menu.
