4 The first time you use the EtherDisk diskette, the
3Com software license appears. To accept its terms,
type
Y
. (To view all the license text, press [F1].)
Several messages appear while the Intelligent Auto Install
program is running. A final message indicates successful
installation.
If problems occur
only
when the Intelligent Auto Install
program runs, view or print the COMSLINK.LOG file
(located in the C:\ directory) to see what the problem
may be.

To display the file, type the following:
type comslink.log | more [Enter]

To print the file, type the following:
print comslink.log [Enter]
5 When prompted, remove the EtherDisk diskette and
reboot the PC.
Installation is complete and you can log on to the network.
For Windows 3.x, after connecting to the network, be
sure to run WSINSTALL for full Windows support. (Ask
your system administrator for the location of this Novell
installation utility.)
OS/2
This section describes how to install the NetWare network
driver on a PC running OS/2. To install the driver, perform
these steps:
1 Insert the 3C515-TX NIC, and connect it to the
network, as described in Chapter 2.
2 Install the OS/2 Warp operating system on the PC.
3 Download the latest version of the Novell NetWare
Requester from Novell.
4 Insert the EtherDisk diskette in drive A, switch to
the A:\NWCLIENT directory, and copy the driver
3C515.SYS to the root (A:\) of the EtherDisk
diskette.
