The main window of the diagnostic program is displayed.

From the
Test
menu, select
Echo Server
, and then click
Start
.
A message confirms that your PC is now set up as an echo server.
Starting the Group 3 Test
Follow these steps to run the Group 3 test on the 3C509B NIC:

Start the Configuration and Diagnostic Program on the PC
in which the NIC to be tested is installed.

From the
Test
menu, select
Test Setup
.

Enable the Group 3 test. Select
OK
and press Enter.

Go to the Run Tests dialog box to start the tests.

After the test is completed:
a
Exit the program on the echo server.
b
Exit the Configuration and Diagnostic Program.
