For Model CS/3100, disconnect the power wiring harness from the
connector on the rear of the diskette drive, as shown in Figure 5-7.

Install the new power supply module.

Reconnect the power supply cable to the connector on the
motherboard.
Make sure you keep the connector keys aligned.

For Model CS/3100 only, reconnect the power wiring harness to the
connector on the rear of the diskette drive.

Slip the keyhole slots on the bottom of the power supply module over
the standoffs on the bottom of the chassis. Slide the power supply
module toward the rear of the chassis.

Fasten the module in place with the screw.

Reconnect the power supply cable to the connector on the auxiliary
processor board.
Make sure you keep the connector keys aligned.

Replace the cover, as described in “Replacing the Cover”.
Replacing Private
Memory Chips
If you ever need to replace memory chips on the motherboard, follow this
procedure:

Make sure server power is off and the power cord is unplugged.

Remove the cover, as described in “Removing the Cover”.
Figure 5-8 shows the location of private memory chips. These chips are
installed in the following slots: U23, U24, U30, U32, U31, U34, U33, U35, U39,
U40, U46, U51, U47, U52, U50, and U53.
