Disconnecting Power Supply Cables

Remove the power supply.
a
Remove the screw that fastens the power supply module to the bottom
of the chassis.
Figure 5-7 shows the location of the screw.

Slide the power supply module toward the front of the server and lift it
partially out.
The bottom of the power supply has two keyhole slots that fit over
standoffs located on the bottom of the chassis. You must slide the power
supply far enough forward to lift it off the standoffs.

Disconnect the cable that connects the power supply to the connector
on the motherboard, as shown in Figure 5-7.
