<Type> - Failed <test name> <test number> [<x>] [<y>] [<z>]
Meaning:
<Type> identifies the motherboard test type being executed at
the time of failure: CPU, SIO (serial input/output), or EC
(Ethernet controller). <test name> identifies the test that
failed, while <test number> gives the test number.
Motherboard test numbers include a decimal point followed by
two zeros. The optional numerical values <x>, <y>, and <z>
help identify the location of the error.
For example, the error message
CPU - Failed PARITY TEST 06.00
means that the CPU parity test, number 06.00, failed.
<Type> <test name> Failed: was <wwwwwwww>, expected
<eeeeeeee>, at Address <xxxxxxxx>
Meaning:
<Type> identifies the motherboard memory test type being
executed at the time of failure, PRVT (private) or (SHRD) shared.
<test name> identifies the test that failed. <wwwwwwww> is
the hexadecimal data pattern returned from the memory
location being tested; <eeeeeeee> is the expected
hexadecimal data pattern; and <xxxxxxxx> is the hexadecimal
address being tested.
For example, the error message
PRVT Data Bus Ripple Failed: was 0x1000ff, expected
0x100000, at Address 0x10ff00
means that the data bus ripple test for private memory failed at address
0x10ff00. The data that was expected was 0x100000. The actual data was
0x1000ff.
