OPERATION
3.1.
STATUS INDICATORS
3.1.1.
IGNITION LED
This LED is to notify the operator that the vehicle’s ignition has been turned on which will then turn on the DVR.
This LED will be blinking when ignition is turned on and until DVR powers on. This LED will also blink when ignition
is turned off and until DVR powers off.
3.1.2.
POWER LED
This LED is to notify operator that system power is on.
3.1.3.
HDD SAFE REMOVAL LED
This LED when blinking is to notify operator to NOT remove HDD until blinking stops. When this LED is blinking,
system is properly closing all data files on the HDD, once all data files are closed HDD power is switched off,
blinking stops
3.1.4.
HDD HIGH TEMPERATURE LED
This LED is to notify the operator that the HDD temperature is over the maximum HDD operating temperature.
3.1.5.
HDD ACTIVITY LED
This LED is to notify operator that there is hard drive activity.
3.1.6.
HDD POWER LED
This LED is to notify operator that the HDD is powered on and that it’s ready to record data.
3.1.7.
ERROR LED
This LED is to notify operator that the system has encountered a problem and cannot continue normal operation.

3.1.8.
VIDEO LOST INDICATOR LED
This LED is to notify operator when any of the enabled cameras loses video signal meaning the cable is cut or is
not connected.
3.1.9.
USB ACTIVITY LED
This LED is to notify the operator that there is USB activity, which means that data files are being downloaded from
the HDD to the USB thumb drive or that a firmware upgrade is in progress. Do not remove USB thumb drive until
LED stops blinking.
