Troubleshooting
This chapter offers some suggestions to solve problems you might encounter. The potential
problems are divided into the following categories.

Power, Hardware Connections, and LEDs

3.1 Power, Hardware Connections, and LEDs

The STB does not turn on. None of the LEDs turn on.

Make sure the STB is turned on.

Make sure you are using the power adaptor or cord included with the STB.

Make sure the power adaptor or cord is connected to the STB and plugged in to an
appropriate power source. Make sure the power source is turned on.

Turn the STB off and on.

If the problem persists, contact the vendor.

POWER

) LED is red, or blinking green.

The STB may be in standby mode. Try using the remote control’s
button to turn it on.

Wait for a short while. The STB may take a minute or so to start up.

If the LED still does not turn steady green, turn the STB off and on.

If the problem persists, contact the vendor.
