23.2.1 Resetting the Time
The ZyXEL Device resets the time in three instances:

On leaving menu 24.10 after making changes.

When the ZyXEL Device starts up, if there is a timeserver configured in menu 24.10.
3
24-hour intervals after starting.
23.3 Remote Management Setup
23.3.1 Telnet
You can configure your ZyXEL Device for remote Telnet access to the SMT or command line
interface.
23.3.2 FTP
You can upload and download ZyXEL Device firmware and configuration files using FTP. To
use this feature, your computer must have an FTP client.
23.3.3 Web
You can use the ZyXEL Device’s embedded web configurator for configuration and file
management. See the online help
for details.
23.3.4 Remote Management Setup
Remote management setup is for managing Telnet, FTP and Web services. You can customize
the service port, access interface and the secured client IP address to enhance security and
flexibility.
You can manage your ZyXEL Device from a remote location via:
Internet (
WLAN only
), the
LAN only
,
All
(LAN and WLAN) or
Disable
(neither).
New Date
Enter the new date in year, month and day format.
Time Zone
Press [SPACE BAR] and then [ENTER] to set the time difference between your
time zone and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Daylight Saving
If you use daylight savings time, then choose
Yes
.
Start Date
If using daylight savings time, enter the month and day that it starts on.
End Date
If using daylight savings time, enter the month and day that it ends on
Once you have filled in this menu, press [ENTER] at the message “Press ENTER to Confirm or ESC to
Cancel“ to save your configuration, or press [ESC] to cancel.
