Chapter 8 Connections and LEDs

MS-7206 Hardware Installation Guide

The MS-7206 supports two types of the power module: AC-DC converter (MP-7201) and DC-
DC converter (MP-7203). You can install one type depending on your power source or install 
both types simutaneously. 
The power connections are on the front of each power module. The power modules are in the 
upper left of the front panel of the chassis.

8.4.1.1  Connecting the Power

Follow the steps below to connect power to the MS-7206.

MP-7201 AC-DC Power Module

Slide the power module’s socket cover up and connect the female end of the power cord 
to the power socket.

Flip the power cord retainer down.

Connect the other end of the cord to a power outlet.

Dress the power cords after you connect them.
