Make sure you understand the normal behavior of the LED. See Section 3.3 on
page 38 .

Check the hardware connections. See Section 39.1 on page 329 .

Inspect your cables for damage. Contact the vendor to replace any damaged
cables.

Disconnect and re-connect the power adaptor or cord to the Switch.

If the problem continues, contact the vendor.
39.2 Switch Access and Login
I forgot the IP address for the Switch.

The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.

Use the console port to log in to the Switch.

If this does not work, you have to reset the device to its factory defaults. See
Section 4.6 on page 50 .
I forgot the username and/or password.

The default username is admin and the default password is 1234.

If this does not work, you have to reset the device to its factory defaults. See
Section 4.6 on page 50 .
I cannot see or access the Login screen in the web configurator.

Make sure you are using the correct IP address.
• The default IP address is 192.168.1.1 .
• If you changed the IP address, use the new IP address.
