CP/BiDi module programming process
Connect the power supply to the motion detector.
The motion detector is ready for operation after approx. one minute
(LED on the detector is switched off after permanent On mode is
selected).
1. Press the programming button on the BiDi module for one second.
(see page 13)
The BiDi module switches to programming mode. The LED on the
detector starts to flash and the relays are switched off.
2. Press the programming button on the CP for one second.
(see page 14 if the CP is not already in programming mode).
The CP is placed in programming mode for five minutes.
3. Initiate a detection by the motion detector.
The motion detector sends a signal to the CP and the CP automatically
saves the received code on the next available channel. To
acknowledge receipt, the CP emits a sound and the LEDs on the CP
briefly light up. This indicates that the channel has been successfully
programmed.
4. Briefly press the relay 1 button (On/Off or auto).
(see page 14) (Make sure you the channel selection switch is set
correctly beforehand!)
The CP sends a radio signal and the BiDi module saves the received
code on the next available channel. The LED on the detector lights up
for one second and the light switches on for five seconds. The BiDi
module ends the programming mode and sends an acknowledgement
signal to the CP. The CP emits three beeps and the LEDs on the CP
briefly light up indicating that the channel has been programmed
successfully.
Now assign the acoustic signal on the detector. This can be completed
during programming mode or standard operation.
5. Step in to the coverage area of the detector and initiate a detection,
this will activate the acoustic signal. Now select the required sound by
briefly pressing the sound selection button. Then initiate another
detection to ensure that the sound is assigned to the relevant detector.
The sounds can be assigned as many times as required and is not
dependent on the channel selection switch.
