Programming/pairing the CP and BiDi module

Only when both of the devices being paired (CP with BiDi module, or
BiDi module with BiDi module) are in programming mode can they
actually be paired.

Safety: The CP and the BiDi module, or the BiDi module and BiDi
module must be paired. Thanks to the encoded signal, an external
transmitter cannot operate the BiDi module or the CP.
If a channel (1-2-3-4) is assigned to a different device (CP or BiDi
module) (and vice versa), then this channel is taken and cannot be
assigned to another device. A device that has already been saved
cannot be saved on the same receiver/transmitter or BiDi module/CP
again.
Any received "codes" are automatically saved in sequence (channel 1-
2-3-4) in the memory of the relevant receiver.

If, for example, a control pad (i.e. channel 1) has already been
assigned to a BiDi module, then the CP cannot be assigned another
channel.
If a channel was accidentally (or on purpose) paired with the "wrong"
device or programming was aborted, the channel cannot be
overwritten or deleted separately. Instead, a complete reset must be
completed.

To reset, press and hold the programming button on the CP and then
the BiDi module (or if applicable, on both BiDi modules) for five
seconds. Following a successful reset, the devices will switch to the
programming mode.
Please note that all of the saved channels as well as any stored lux
values will be lost and must be reprogrammed.

Preparing for programming/pairing

When programming a new device, ensure that the channel selection
switch on the CP is set to the next free channel. Devices that are not
meant to be paired or that are already paired should be disconnected
from the power supply or should not be used to ensure that the
programming process is not accidentally interrupted.

If batteries are put in a newly supplied CP (or following a reset) all of
the acoustic signals are played in sequence and the CP switches to
programming mode for five minutes.
