GENERAL CHECKS AT VEHICLE START UP
Caution
Before you start the vehicle on a steep slope or a muddy road, move the
transmission selection lever into
“
F1
”
position.
Caution
Do not turn the power supply OFF while the engine in ON. The instruments,
signals, and indicators do not operate. This causes a dangerous condition
because the ECU does not have power.

(1) Examine the controls and instruments.

(a) Examine the transmission oil pressure gauge.

The transmission oil pressure must be between
