7.13 HOIST OPERATION
The winch mechanism consists of the hydraulic motor, winch reducer, brake, rope guider,
anti-two block system, 3
rd
wrap, hoist rope and hook block and auxiliary hook.
The winch mechanism mainly includes two parts - main winch and auxiliary winch.

1 How to look up rated lift capacity.
2 Use the Lift Height Chart to find out the boom length and working radius.
Use the load rating chart to find out the rated lifting capacity.
Note
Use the load rating chart to find out the rated lifting capacity if you lift a load with jib
assembled at the main boom head.
3 Use the below figure to find out the rated lifting capacity if the outrigger
beams are fully extended and the main boom is over side or over rear.
