This page controls how your SMS messages are handled

SMS Center Number
is a phone number that acts like a gateway for transferring SMS
messages.
SMS Validity
is the amount of time your service provider should keep trying to
resend your SMS message if your service provider has not been successful in sending it.
You can set the
Default Save Location
for SMS messages as your PC, SIM or data card.
Your PC offers the most storage space, but storing SMS message on your SIM or data card
keeps your SMS messages in the modem.
Delivery Report
will provide you with a confirmation that your text message was delivered.
Note that not all servicer providers support this service.
A few service providers may send a
Cell Broadcast
as a way to send texts to everyone on a
cell tower. If your service provider supports this, you maybe able to get emergency weather
updates or technical details about your connection. If your service provider does support
this, you need to know the info topic number for each service. Once you add an info topic
number, it will get displayed in the table.
