The Text Symbol

Text is used to send and receive text messages. When you select Text, the following screen
appears:

Most of the functions should be self-explanatory if you are familiar with sending text (SMS)
messages. We encourage you to try sending a text message to someone, and then asking that
person to send you a text message.

By default, your text messages are stored on your local PC. If you are going to use your
modem with one computer, using the PC to store your text messages typically gives you the
most storage space. If you plan to use your modem with multiple computers, then you may
wish to use either a

data card

(that is, a MicroSD card that you can plug into your modem)

or your SIM card for storage. Using a data card will give you more storage than your SIM
card. Most SIM cards can store about 250 contacts. To change the device you are using for
