6. START-UP PROCEDURE
It is recommended to open the registration panel to verify that there have been no
movements during transport, ensuring that the pre-filter, the GRSystem and the absolute
filter are correctly placed and fixed in position.
The accessible panel can be opened by loosening the 8 M6 star screws (4 on each side), it
being very important to tighten them again correctly to ensure the unit's watertightness.
All access panels on the unit must be closed before starting. Make sure that the earth
connection is securely connected.
· Connect the general power switch external to the unit, keeping the control switch of the
unit in the off position. Once this is done, check that the voltage at the electrical input
terminals of the equipment corresponds to those established on the characteristics plate
(the minimum admitted voltage will be 10% less than the nominal voltage indicated on the
characteristics plate).
· The fan will not start if the network of ducts is not completely closed, since connecting the
fan without load can cause over-currents that could damage the motor. This same effect can
occur if the requested static pressure is greater than the pressure drop produced in the duct
network. To solve this case, act on the flow regulation dampers by closing them, so that a
greater pressure drop is produced.
· Connect the external control switch and stop it moments later.
· The revolutions of rotation of the fan and the motor will be checked by means of a
tachometer.
· With the equipment running, check the currents absorbed by each electrical element,
checking that the current does not exceed the limit values of each one.
It will also be verified that there are no phase shifts between the intensities that circulate
through each line, unless it is caused by single-phase electrical components.
· The total intensity absorbed by all the equipment will be checked, also checking that there
are no gaps between the currents of the different lines.
