Table 10. Rhythm Recognition Detector Categories (Adult Patients)
A true positive (680) is a correct classification of a shockable rhythm. A true
negative (3171) is a correct classification of all rhythms for which a shock is not
indicated. A false positive (1) is an organized or perfusing rhythm or asystole
that has been incorrectly classified as a shockable rhythm. A false negative (5)
is a VF or VT associated with cardiac arrest that has been incorrectly classified
as non-shockable.

negative (619) is a correct classification of all rhythms for which a shock is not

is a VF or VT associated with cardiac arrest that has been incorrectly classified
as non-shockable.
