1. General
A.
The complete assembly and component subassemblies shall be visually
inspected using a strong light and preferably some means of magnification.
When inspecting for damage to interior details of an assembly, an inspection
mirror shall be used so that all surfaces are made visible.
B.
All parts shall be visually examined for nicks, cracks, cuts, fraying, dents,
distortion, chafing, scoring, excessive wear, loose or missing mounting rings and
screws, stripped or crossed threads and other defects that could impair function
of the toilet. Parts made of rubber or neoprene shall be replaced at each
overhaul; therefore, inspection of rubber packings, seals, mushroom valve and
gaskets is unnecessary.
C.
To conduct an electrical check of transmitter assembly PN 13503-106 or 13503-
110 refer to schematic diagram in Figure 501.
D.
Refer to schematic diagram, Figure 502 to check continuity of electrical wiring on
Timer PN 11059-79.
E.
Conduct a detailed inspection of parts and assemblies in accordance with the
requirements of Inspection and Check, Table 501.
