Drain the used oil when the engine is warm. Warm oil drains quickly and completely.
1.
Unscrew the screws (1) and remove the side cover (2).
2.
Unscrew the screw cap (3) with the oil dipstick.
3.
Tilt the machine and allow the used oil to drain into a
suitable container.
4.
Refill the recommended engine oil up to the upper edge
of the oil dipstick (max. oil level) and check the oil
level.
5.
To do this, place the machine on a flat surface.
6.
Wipe the oil dipstick with a clean, lint-free cloth or a
non-fibrous paper towel.
7.
Push the oil dipstick back into the opening as far as
possible, but do not screw it in. (Make sure that the
dipstick is really pushed all the way in - sometimes it
gets jammed).
8.
Pull out the oil dipstick again and read off the oil level.
9.
If the oil level is correct (max. up to the upper limit of
the oil dipstick), screw the screw cap with the oil
dipstick back in.
10.
Wipe away oil residues with a towel.
11.
Reinstall the side cover and secure it with screws.
12.
Start the engine. If the oil level is sufficient, the oil level
indicator light will not light up.
