Settings Tab

Network Settings Page

The

Network Settings

page is used to view and specify the UPStealth 2 network address and other settings.

•

Static IP Address:

Sets the IP address for this UPStealth 2. The default IP address is 192.168.1.51. Typically, the system

manager will set up a spreadsheet with live links to the unique IP Addresses for each UPStealth 2, making it easy for users to

•

Gateway Address:

Sets the IP address of the gateway that the UPStealth 2 will use.

•

Subnet:

Sets the subnet that the UPStealth 2 unit will be on.

•

Primary DNS:

Specifies the preferred DNS server address.

•

Secondary DNS:

Specifies the DNS server to use if the primary is unavailable.

•

DHCP enabled:

Check this box to use Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) instead of manually configuring network

settings. This allows the UPStealth 2 to be assigned an IP address and supplied default network parameters from a DHCP ser-
vice located on your network. This box is unchecked by default.

Click the

Save

button to save settings changes. Click the

Cancel

button to discard changes.
