Finding the right COM Port
COM Port- This will change depending on which port the FTDI cable has been connected to. If you
are not sure and need to check this, use the following steps;
1.
Plug the FTDI cable into the PC.
2.
Open Device Manager in Windows and look for Ports (COM & LPT).
3.
Unplug the FTDI cable and note which COM port is then removed from the device list.
4.
This is the COM port you then need to select.
