e.3.3 cleaning the window pane
clean the glass regularly. the glass is heat resistant but can crack due to fast tem-
perature changes. use normal glass cleaning spray and cleaning tissue.
e.3.4 checking the bottomgrate bars
check the bottomgrate bars twice per year, first time before the heating season
starts. check for cracks and fractures. Replace it if necessary. the parts are made of
cast iron which can break with high temperature shocks or when it drops on the
floor. only use original Zibro spare parts. the bottomgrate bars can be removed
after removing the ash pan first (see picture 7).
e.3.5 The charging door seal
At least twice per year, first time before the heating season starts, check the char-
ging door seal on leakage and outlook. have it replaced by a by Zibro authorized
technician if needed. only use original Zibro spare parts.
e.3.6 The fire bed walls
At least twice per year, before the heating season starts, check the fire bed for
fractures. the parts are made of cast iron which can break with high temperature
shocks or when it drops on the floor. have it replaced by a by Zibro authorized
technician if needed. only use original Zibro spare parts.
e.3.7 The stone behind the front charging door
At least twice per year, first time before the heating season starts, check the stone
on the inside of the stove behind the charging door for fractures. have it replaced
by a by Zibro authorized technician if needed. only use original Zibro spare parts.
only clean the window pane glass when the stove has cooled down
completely!
