PROTECTION AGAINST ExTREME HIGH OR LOW TEMPERATURE
1 When sensor on the air intake detects ambient temperature

0°C or
≥
40 °C, the
dehumidifier will shut off automatically for protection reasons and produces a
continuous acoustical alarm signal with 3 long and 2 short signals.
When sensor detects ambient temperature
≤
0 °C: “0°C” is shown in the LCD display.
When sensor detects ambient temperature
≥
40 °C: “40°C” is shown in the LCD display.
2 When sensor on the evaporator detects its temperature
≥
40 °C, the dehumidifier will
shut off automatically (protection), and the symbol of automatic defrost
illuminates.
In this protection mode:
•
Control buttons do not longer function. Remove the power cord plug from mains
and reposition it again to restart the unit.
•
After the protection mode of extremely low & high temperature, the appliance will
not keep its memory function when restart.
air fiLter
The dehumidifiers are equipped with a 3-layer filter package to clean the circulated room
air. The 3-layer filter package consists of a screen filter and (separately packed) 3M™ HAF
and active carbon filter. These filters must be placed according to the instructions before
operating the dehumidifiers.
