What we didn’t have time to discover are the bits Start,
Address acknowledge, Data acknowledge and Stop. Start and
Stop delimit the beginning and the end of the message. The
bits Acknowledge tell us whether the address, read/write
bits and the data have been correctly received.
In the end, in this experiment we often jumped to conclusions
because we already knew what we were looking for but in real
life it would take more steps to fully understand a protocol
without its documentation.
