Installing the Power Supply Cable
1.
Terminate the power supply cable with the IEC
connector provided.
a. Remove the cover by undoing the fixing screw.
b. Remove the rubber grommet, and pass the mains cable
though it, observing the correct orientation of the cable.
c. Strip the outer sheath and insulation on the cable to the
required lengths, making sure the outer sheath of the
cable will be held by the cable grip when the connections
are made.
d. Remove the cable grip by undoing the top two screws.
e. Fit the rubber grommet back into position.
f.
Make the connections to the terminals as follows:
−
Live to terminal marked “L”
−
Neutral to terminal marked “N”
−
Earth to terminal marked “E” or

g. Re-fit the cable grip back into position using the two
screws
h. Secure the cable in the cable grip by tightening the two
screws.
i.
Re-fit the cover using the fixing screw.
The power supply cable must be terminated with
the IEC connector provided (BULGIN PX0587) in
order for the retaining clip to fit properly.
Normal standard mains cabling to fit
the supplied IEC connector.

Ensure that the power switch on the Charging Station is
switched off.

Plug the power supply cable into the Charging Station,
and secure the power cable with the retaining clip.
The retaining clip should be fitted in order to
prevent accidental removal of the cable.
