Cleaning and maintenance of the sandwich
maker

The sandwich maker does not require special
maintenance.

The sandwich maker should be kept and stored clean, as
it has contact with food.

Before you start cleaning the sandwich maker, remove
the plug of the connecting cord from the socket and allow
the appliance to cool down completely.

First, wipe the sandwich maker with a soft damp cloth,
and next dry it up with a soft clean cloth.

APPLE CROISSANTS
(1 serving)
1 tbs apple jam,
1 tsp icing sugar,
1 tbs cinnamon,
2 slices toasting bread.
Place a slice of toasting bread in the sandwich maker,
buttered side down. Spread 1 flat tablespoon of jam
on the toast. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Cover
with a slice of bread, placing it buttered side up. Close
the sandwich maker and toast for about 5 minutes.
Be careful when consuming the so as to avoid getting
burnt as the filling might be too hot.
BANANA SNACKS
(2 servings)
1 tsp icing sugar,
1 peeled banana,
4 slices toasting bread.
Place two slices of toasting bread, buttered side down,
in the sandwich maker. Slice the banana in half down its
length and place the halves on the bread slices. Sprinkle
with sugar. Cover with a slice of bread, buttered side up.
Close the sandwich maker and toast for about 5 minutes.
Serve when the filling has cooled down.
WELSH CHEESE TOASTIE
(1 serving)
1 tsp hot mustard,
1–2 slices cheese,
2 slices toasting bread.
Place a slice of toasting bread, buttered side down, in
the sandwich maker. Place cheese on the slice of bread.
Spread the cheese with mustard. Cover with a slice of
bread, buttered side up. Close the sandwich maker and
toast for about 5 minutes. Do not consume a very hot.
BACON AND TOMATO SNACK
(1 serving)
2 rashers bacon,
1 sliced tomato,
1 tsp chopped parsley,
2 slices toasting bread.
Fry the bacon on a frying pan. Remove the skin and
chop the bacon into small pieces. Mix the bacon, tomato
and parsley together.
Soak the slice of bread in the fat from the bacon and
place in the sandwich maker, soaked side down. Put the
filling on the slice of bread. Cover with a slice of bread,
the bacon fat soaked side up. Close the sandwich maker
and toast for about 5 minutes. Serve when the filling has
cooled down.
