Before operation make sure that the SAFBAG bag is installed
in the vacuum cleaner chamber and that inlet filter and the
HEPA outlet filter is installed in the appliance.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an electronic
power control which allows to gradually adjust the vacuum
cleaner suction power during operation. To adjust the
suction power use the power adjustment buttons
(10,12)
– to increase the suction power or – to decrease the
suction power. The suction power setting is indicated by the
appropriate number of lit diodes.
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a power
level memory function. When you turn off
the vacuum cleaner using the ON/OFF button
(2), the power level is going to be stored in
memory. After the vacuum cleaner is turned
on next time, it is going to start working at the
same power level it had been working before it
was turned off.
The suction power may be adjusted during operation.
The recommended settings are:
Setting 1 – vacuuming curtains
Setting 2 – vacuuming upholstery
Setting 3 – cost-effective power
Setting 4 – vacuuming carpets
Setting 5 – vacuuming hard floors and crevices.
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with the
adjustment function for LED brightness of the
power level indicator (11) on the control panel.
In order to set a demanded LED brightness,
you have to press both of the power adjustment
buttons
(10) and (12), and when still
pressing these buttons turn on the vacuum
cleaner by pressing the ON/OFF button (2). The
LED for power levels 1, 3, and 5 turn on, and
the motor stays turned off. Next by pressing
the power adjustment buttons (10) and
(12) you can respectively increase or decrease
the brightness of power level indicator (11).
After setting a desired LED brightness, it is
necessary to turn off the vacuum cleaner using
the ON/OFF button (2). In this way you leave
the LED brightness adjustment function mode,
and the set LED brightness level is stored.

The vacuum cleaner type 1600.3 is additionally equipped
with remote suction power control located in the suction hose
handle. It allows to change the suction power without the
necessity to bend down.
In order to use this function, open the battery compartment
in the suction hose handle and insert two 1.5 V AAA type
batteries or two chargeable 1.2 V AAA type batteries.
Insert the batteries so that the battery pole
market “+” is always directed towards the lock
of the compartment marked with “+”.
Use only high quality batteries. Battery leakage may
cause damage to the electronic system.

To use the remote control of the suction power press the
appropriate button on the hose handle ( , ):

To decrease the suction power by one setting press the

button.

Press the
button on the hose handle to temporarily
switch off the appliance and to operate in the
STANDBY
mode.
To continue vacuuming press the STANDBY button

again. The appliance will start operating with the previously
set suction power.
The infrared transmitter and receiver have to
“see” each other in order for the remote control
system to work properly.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an accessory
compartment. To open the compartment lift the vacuum
cleaner handle and pull the accessory compartment cover

upwards.

The accessories may be attached to the accessory
holder in the suction hose handle. This way they will be
available for use at any time.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with the “Parksystem”
function. This function allows to temporarily switch off the
vacuum cleaner using the fastening hook of the combination
brush without the necessity to use the on/off button. In order
to do so, during operation insert the fastening hook of the
combination brush in the combination brush fastening

The vacuum cleaner will automatically switch off.
Filter disassembly
Before changing the filters make sure that the vacuum cleaner
is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply.

Slide the inlet filter

from the appliance body.

Insert the new filter making sure that the outer edge of
the filter is located to the inside of the limiting rib.

Close the front cover.
HEPA OUTLET FILTER
The vacuum cleaners are equipped with a HEPA (High
Efficiency Particulate Air) H11, H13 outlet filter.
The filters have a high filtration capacity; they are made of
special fibers which are able to retain almost all dust particles.
The H11 and H13 classes determine the permeability of
