Spalthelligkeit einstellen
•
Netzschalter am Netzanschlussgerät (

, Abb. 5) einschalten.
•
Danach stellen Sie mit dem Helligkeitsregler (

Instrumentenbasis die gewünschte Helligkeit ein. Am linken Anschlag
des Reglers ist die Stromzufuhr unterbrochen. Durch Drehen erfolgt
eine kontinuierliche Helligkeitsänderung. Rechter Anschlag entspricht
maximaler Beleuchtungsstärke.
Patienten positionieren
•
Passen Sie die Sitzhöhe des Patienten an.
•
Wählen Sie die Tischhöhe so, dass eine feste Anlage von Kinn und
Stirn des Patienten gegeben ist. Zum gleichen Zweck können Sie den
Patientensitz etwas vom Gerät abrücken oder höher stellen.
•
Verstellen Sie die Kinnauflage (

, Abb. 23) in der Höhe, dass die
Patientenaugen etwa in der gleichen Höhe liegen wie die roten
Markierringe (

Stellen Sie durch Drehen des Koordinatensteuerhebels (

, Abb. 23)
die Spaltlampe in die mittlere Höhenstellung, zu erkennen an der
roten Markierung (

Hinweise zum Gerätebetrieb
•
Die Spalthöhe soll so gewählt werden, dass nur der untersuchte Teil
des Auges beleuchtet wird. Sonst werden unabsichtlich auch Stellen
hoher Remission (z. B. die Sklera) beleuchtet, wodurch störende
Überstrahlungen entstehen können.
•
Die Wahl der Filter nehmen Sie mit dem Einstellrad (

Notwendigkeit vor.
•
Für die regrediente Beleuchtung ist der Winkel zwischen Beobach-
tung und Beleuchtung möglichst klein zu wählen und die Beleuch-
tung mit dem Knopf (

, Abb. 23) geringfügig zu dezentrieren.
•
Beim Arbeiten mit dem Tonometer wird empfohlen, mit dem rechten
Auge durch das linke Okular zu schauen, während das linke Auge
den Patienten beobachten kann.
•
Die Entscheidung zwischen konvergentem oder parallelem Beobach-
tungsstrahlengang hängt weitgehend von persönlichen Gebrauchs-
gewohnheiten des Nutzers ab.
