1
Support arm for the surgical microscope
You can position the surgical microscope in a range from 0° to -90°.
This allows the viewing direction of the surgical microscope to be
adapted to the requirements of the surgical field. The 90° setting is
ideal for surgery on patients in a seated position. Using knob (6), you
can adjust the friction of the microscope's tilt motion.
2
Inclined binocular tube
This tube is used as a viewing device for the surgeon. The viewing
angle of 45° ensures fatigue-free surgery.
180° tiltable binocular tube (option)
Due to its large tilt range, the tiltable binocular tube allows optimum
adaptation to extreme surgical conditions.
3
Eyepieces
The standard equipment includes eyepieces with a magnification
factor of 12.5x (option: 10x).
4
Surgical microscope
The optics of the microscope provide superb optical quality. The mi-
croscope image displays optimum contrast and excellent detail recog-
nition along with a large depth of field. A 5-step magnification changer
allows you to set the magnification required.
5
Objective lens
with a focal length of 200 mm.
The illumination system has been designed for use in ophthalmology. A
light guide directs the light from the light source in the stand to the surgical
microscope.
