Adjusting the stand
•
Turn on the unit at power switch (5).
•
Use keys (4) to successively select the following functions: lamp
brightness, focusing, X-Y coupling. Respective LED (2) is lit.
•
Use keys (3) to set the values required for the lamp brightness, the fo-
cusing and X-Y coupling functions. The respective setting can be read
from LED display (1).
Lamp brightness
Adjustment range: 0.1...1.5
Level 1.0 corresponds to the spectral density of L
B
= 500 mW / cm² sr
as specified in the ISO 10936-2 standard draft for surgical micros-
copes used in ophthalmic applications.
Motor speed
Adjustment range: 1...10
Level 1 corresponds to the lowest, level 10 to the highest motor speed.
Notes:
–
The value set is saved after 10 seconds and displayed the next time
the unit is turned on.
–
If no entry is made via the arrow or plus/minus keys, the unit will switch
to the lamp brightness display after 15 seconds at the latest.
