Airyscan Multitrack ILEX
For best synchronicity in a multitracking acquisition
with the Airyscan, a so called
ILEX (interleaved
laser excitation) mode is available.
This allows the tightest timing of the different
channels acquired with the Airyscan detector.
•
To activate ILEX, use the
ILEX Setup
button
(Fig. 142) at the Airyscan multitrack section in
the Acquisition mode dialogue.
•
You can either type in the required bandpass
emission filters or select them from the drop
down list. Then press the
OK button (Fig. 143).
As a result, a linewise multitracking will be
configured automatically, which includes a 2x
linewise averaging of each image line acquired.
During this averaging, the excitation lasers will be
interleaved for best synchronicity.
•
Make sure the correct laser lines are activated
by using the laser checkboxes for the respective
multitracks.
•
The laser power can be set individually with the
slider (Fig. 144).
