The brake value states how the pump will
behave when the set target pressure has
been achieved.
The higher the set deceleration, the
faster the pump will “regulate off” after
reaching the target pressure, which can
certainly lead to a “pressure drop”. Too
little deceleration values can lead to
overpressure during operation, because
the pump reacts too slowly to the closing
of a consumer.
