4. Plug the AC/DC power adaptor into the AC mains power supply outlet

    (110V - 240VAC) and connect the other end to the power input socket, 

    located at the right side of the tray, towards the back.

6. The power charge indicator light,

    located at the front right of the 

    tray, indicates the current charging 

    mode. An orange light indicates

    that the thermometer is charging. 

   A green light indicates that the 

   thermometer is fully charged (the 

   green light also comes on if the

   thermometer is not on the base).

5. Placing the thermometer on the base not only protects the thermometer, 

     it also ensures that it is always charged, and ready for use.  The ACT8000R 

     can  be put on the tray for charging at any time, it is supplied with rechargeable 

      alkaline batteries that do not have a ‘memory effect’.
