Fixing to the cabinet
• Insert the appliance in the compartment.
• Open the oven door and fix the oven
body to the cabinet with four wood screws
(
B
- see fig. 36) suitable for the holes
specially provided in the external trim,
inside which you will have inserted the
spacers provided (
A
- see fig. 36).
When also inserting a cooktop, the electrical
connection of the top and the oven must be carried
out separately, for electrical reasons and to facilitate
possible removal of the oven from the cabinet.
Any extensions must be made with cables suitable
for the required power.
Electrical Connection
Before carrying out the connection, make sure:
1.
the limiter valve and the electrical system can
take the appliance load (refer to the dataplate);
2.
the supply system is equipped with an efficient
earth connection in compliance with applicable
standards and regulations;
3.
the socket or omnipolar switch used are easily
accessible with the appliance installed.
This appliance is supplied with a connection cable
incorporating a standard plug, suitable for the total
electric load shown on the rating plate. The plug is
to be inserted into a suitable wall socket. If you
require a direct connection to the electric network
(mains), it will be necessary to fit between the ap-
pliance and the mains an omnipole switch, with a
minimum gap between contacts of 3 mm, suitable
for the required load and in compliance with rules
in force. The green & yellow ground wire must not
be interrupted by the switch and it should be 2-3
cm longer than the other cables. The supply cable
must in all cases be laid out in such a way as to
ensure that it does not reach at any given point a
temperature 50 °C higher than the ambient
temperature.
After connection, test the heating elements by
operating them for about 3 minutes.
