2.2 Brief
description
This hydraulically regulated instantaneous water heater is a pressure appliance for the heating of cold water to
DIN 1988 that can supply one or several draw-off points.

The hydraulic control system regulates the electrical output automatically in two output stages, subject to the

The bare wire heating system is enclosed within a pressure-tested plastic jacket. The heating system is also
particularly suitable for water with low limescale or with limescale content (see table 3 "Application areas").

1. Remove fuses or trip the appropriate MCBs.
2. Open and close a tap downstream of the equipment several times, until all air has been vented from
the cold water supply line upstream and from the equipment.
3. Replace the fuses or reset the relevant MCBs.

Thermostatic pressure valves must be suitable for hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heaters
(see also note "1.6 Recommended adjustment of taps / valves".
Practical
information:
In order for the starting volumes (see table 3) of stages I and II to be reached safely, pressure drop values
from the instantaneous water heater, tap / valve, hand shower, shower hose and pipework must be taken
into account during installation.
Typical pressure drop for a shower water volume of 10 l/min.:
