6.2 REMOVING THE UNIT FROM THE PACKING
When you open the shipping carton, check to
make sure all the components are present and in
good condition. Any damage must be immedi-
ately communicated to the transport agent, and
our service department must be notified imme-
diately if any material is missing.
MODELS WITH CASING
Turn the carton box upside down and open it
from the bottom side; turn the carton box again,
taking care when slipping off the carton box. In
this way, the unit will stand, wrapped in the protective polystyrene shell.
CONCEALED MODELS
Open the box at the top, grasp the fan coil by the flange on the delivery outlet and pull the
unit out, using a pair of work gloves.
6.3 REMOVING THE CASING
In order to carry out the installation or the maintenance of the fan coil it is necessary to
remove the frontal panel, letting it slide upward until it stops; two screws under the panel
come out (Fig. 3a). Now, loosen them with a cross screwdriver (Fig. 3b), let the panel
slide upward again, uncoupling it from the two guide lines (Fig. 3c-1). Loosen the four side
screws (Fig. 3d-2). The access to the control box and to the hydraulic connections is now
possible.
The panel and the sides have to be reinstalled before powering the unit.
Repeat the above mentioned operations in the opposite way.
It is advisable to keep the unit in the carton box prior to installation, to protect it
from damages. The plastic bags can be used to protect the inner frame from the
moment it is installed until the mounting of the casing.
