If you have a problem with your treadmill, before you do anything else please check that all the cables have been 

connected correctly. Loose cables are very common and many problems can be solved by making sure the cables are 

properly connected and not damaged.
The following table details the most common problems and how to fix them. If you still have a problem after going through 

the troubleshooting guide please call your local YORK distributor for advice.

NO PULSE 

SIGNAL

Wires are damaged or not connected properly

Verify all wires are connected properly

Too much hand movement

Grip firmly

Palms too wet

Dry palms

Hand Pulse Sensor is being gripped too tightly Grip using moderate pressure
User is wearing rings

Remove all rings

ERROR CODE: E-1 Hands are not hold on handgrips tightly during BODY FAT test.
ERROR CODE: E-2 Check if cables are well connected or damaged.

ERROR CODE: E-4 Check the user’s age, height, weight figure setting when the test result is out of the range of 

FAT% 5~50 and BMI 5~50%.

For your own safety, do not open protective casing. If error persist, please contact your local york distributor for advice.
