DIP switch
This DIP switch defines HIPER-Ring operating priority.
Refrain from changing this DIP switch setting from the default.
The default setting is “RM = ON” and “Stand by = ON.”
USB interface
An ACA is connected with the Recommended Switch via USB interface.
V.24 interface
V.24 interface is used to connect to a computer with terminal cable.
RJ-45 port
RJ-45 port connects Vnet/IP stations or equipment with UTP cable. Ports 1 to 4 are for dual
purpose (RJ45/SFP) combo port.
The combo port will select SFP interface automatically when an SFP module is installed.
SFP port
SFP port has a plug-in slot for an SFP module.
Plug an SFP module into the slot to use Vnet/IP optical connection.
The SFP port is for dual purpose (RJ45/SFP) combo port.

Port status LED
Port status LED glows in green during linkup and it flashes while receiving data.
