The measured object is smaller
than the field of view.
Adjust the measuring distance referring to the Field of
view described in page 10.
The thermometer is affected
by a nearby heating source.
Cut off the heat sources with a shield or such.
A shiny metal surface is
being measured.
This thermometer causes an error when measuring a
shiny metal surface.
Perform measurement after putting optional blackbody
tape onto the object.
The thermometer is
affected by considerable
temperature fluctuation.
Wait until the temperature of thermometer stabilizes.
