CATEGORIZED FUNCTION KEYS
There are twelve categorized function keys. Each categorized function key has more than one item
selections which can be chosen with the soft keys. For example, when the PATTERN function key is
pressed, a list of patterns will be displayed on line four. If there are more than four items for the
categorized function key then NX will show up above the F4 soft key. All items can be accessed through
those four soft keys.
Categorized Function Key Descriptions
The FRAME Key
To select the E1 framing format for transmission and receiving signals.

The CODE Key
To determine whether the tester transmits with AMI-encoded data or HDB3 encoded data.
