Audience
The MR-2000E E1 Tester is designed for routine maintenance, installation, acceptance testing, and fault
isolation of the E1 circuits.
The tester allows for intrusive or non-intrusive testing of the E1 circuits. Bit error rate testing (BERT) can
be performed on any combinations of the DS0 channels on a contiguous, non-contiguous basis or at the full
E1 rate(2.048 Mb/s).
The specially designed function keys plus the soft keys make the test easier. The user-friendly Auto and
Help keys guide you through difficulties step by step.
This manual contains information about the Yoda E1 Tester and is intended for novice as well as expert. It
provides more graphical explanations and structured box diagrams for user to grab the design concept of
the product.
