Using the Remote Control
Mode Selection
Point the remote control at the unit, and press the ON/OFF button to turn on the system. Then press the MODE
button to select the desired mode: AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, or FAN.
Press the " " or " " buttons to increase or decrease the desired temperature. The temperature range is 61

F-
90
°
F (16
°C-32°C).
The system is automatically set to 76°F (26°C) and cannot be adjusted in AUTO or DRY modes
Press the
FAN SPEED button to choose the amount of air flow you would like.
Pressing this button can
set fan speed cycle: auto (AUTO), low ( ), medium (
), high (
). The unit will automatically run the fan at
low speed and in not adjustable in AUTO or DRY modes.
Press the
SWING button to choose the up/down air flow direction you desire. The SWING icon
will be lit
when in use. When not flashing, it indicates the louvers are in a fixed position. In DRY mode the SWING function
cannot be set.
Press the
AIR FLOW button to select the left to right air flow direction you desire. The
icon will be lit
when in use, and not flashing when the AIR FLOW is set to a fixed position.
TIMER
To set the timed switch on or off, or to cancel the timer settings.
Press the TIMER button once. The hours display will flash. Use the "
" or " " to set the number of hours before
you would like the unit to switch on.
Press the TIMER button a second time. The minutes display will flash. Use the "
" or " " to set the number of
minutes before you would like the unit to switch on.
Press the TIMER button a third time, and the command will be sent to the unit.
Press the TIMER button a fourth time and use the "
" or " " buttons to set the hours for the unit to turn off.
Press the TIMER button a fifth time, and use the "
" or " " buttons to set the minutes for the unit to turn off.
Press the TIMER button a sixth time, and the command will be sent to the unit.
To cancel the TIMER settings, press the TIMER button after the ON or OFF Timer function has been set.
TURBO
The TURBO button turns on TURBO operation. TURBO mode can be used in COOL or HEAT Mode, and will not work in
AUTO, DRY, or FAN Modes. If the SLEEP function is set, the TURBO function is cancelled.
CLOCK
The CLOCK button (CLK) is used to set the time. With unit on, press the CLOCK button. The clock on the display screen
will blink. Use the " " or " " buttons to set the time. Press the CLOCK button again to set the time.
SHORT CUT
The SHORT CUT button is used for fast switching to desired settings. Press and hold down the SHORT CUT button, until
the
icon flashes. Set the desired parameters (MODE, TEMPERATURE, FAN SPEED, TURBO, etc.). After
selecting the desired settings press the SHORT CUT button again. The
icon will no longer be visible on the
display screen. The set parameters have been stored.
To run a set short cut, press the SHORT CUT button quickly, and the unit will run on the settings stored in memory.
