Ensure thread is engaged to avoid damage from cross threading. If the thread becomes 
tight just as engaging then unscrew to avoid damage and retry.

There are 2 o‐ring seals in this connection. The amount of torsion required to correctly 
tighten is till the top and probe body are flush. Not loose but just bit more!
