electromagnetic compatibility

In order to regulate the requirements for EMC (electromag-
netic compatibility) with the aim of preventing unsafe prod-
uct situations, the EN60601-1-2 standard has been imple-
mented. This standard defines the levels of immunity to
electromagnetic interference as well as maximum levels of
electromagnetic emissions for medical devices.
Medical devices manufactured by yband therapy AG have
been tested and conform with the requirements of IEC
60601-1-2:2007, 3
rd
edition (see the following tables) and
IEC 60601-1-2:2014, 4
th
edition (clause 7 and 8.9, tables 4
to 9).
Nevertheless, special precautions need to be observed:
• Do not use other equipment than the ones provided by
yband therapy (excluding the standard USB cable) as
they may result in increased emissions or decreased
device immunity.
• The ARYS ™ me tracker and charger should not be used
adjacent to or stacked with other equipment.
